If you go into business for yourself, it’s entirely up to you whether you work weekends or not. Considering working one weekend a month to fulfill the demand when it arises

Your earnings as an Oven Cleaner

The average earning for each oven is approximately £70 (depending on how much you charge per oven), the average cost including marketing cost, gas, diesel, products, blades, tools, towels, marketing, software and accounts fees and running cost is £4 per oven, that’s an average profit of approximately £66, minus wages and taxes. Not bad right, times that by 3 jobs a day and you have a profit of £198. This doesn’t include hobs, extractors, splash backs, microwaves and BBQs, which clients will want cleaned at the same time without any extra costs to you.

“This doesn’t include the possibility of upselling bulbs or even products.”

You can carry out an oven clean that a client will love, and they will be interested in the products you have used. Why not stock a glass cleaning product or a degrease product in your van, a quick sale and an extra £10-£15 or ask if they would like to have a bulb replaced, suddenly your single oven job that earned you £50 has turned into £70 without any extra labour. So, you can see how with just 3 jobs a day you can easily earn £200+ a day. What about doing 4 or even 5?

Oven Cleaning is a way to earn as much as you want without limits or have as much flexibly as you need. The only barrier is the effort and time you put in to
developing your business.

“Within your first year you have the potential to earn between £24 and £36k, second year £48k+ with £70k achievable with just one van”
